Flowers & Stained Glass Mixed Media Assemblages Jewelry Folk Art Findings Home
| Offering a variety of
products made with stained glass techniques and the application of the found items of
a pack rat's collection made in the shop downstairs here. After seeing what is
offered, tell me what you would like and we can work out details via e-mail. If hard
copy works better, I'll send photocopied pictures of my work.
Feel free to forward this to stores and individuals who may be interested in these products. I'm not much of a salesman but if someone else wants to be, I'll work with them. Enjoy, |
Assemblages designed to encourage serendipity!
| Almost no purchases are
made in the manufacture of these products. Renew, recycle, reuse and re-assembled:
stuff from the gutter, from thrift stores, from junk piles, from scrap collections,
from failed projects, from stream beds, bike paths, beaches, waste ground, renovation
sites - the detritus of this culture. The assemblages are constructed by having the
constituent pieces communicate with each other through my memory until a scene is
manifested. They are affirmations of the belief that we can make do with what we have,
we don't need what's new and perfect and comes from a factory a thousand miles away.
Beauty surrounds us and can be accessed by anyone who looks for it.
Commissions available on request. You may order assemblages that incorporate objects of personal significance. Those family keepsakes gathering dust in the corner of a closet or hidden in a chest in the basement could become part of a work of art for all to see and enjoy. Bring them to life again!
